Chris Combs

CEO & Managing Director
Energy executive with a proven track record of success as part of multiple service company / technology startups centric to hydraulic fracturing spanning a 21 year career. Previous operational, engineering, business development, management and executive capacities with large public companies as well as small to mid cap organizations such as Schlumberger, Weatherford, Evolution Well Services and Praetorian Energy Solutions. Prior to beginning his career in the energy sector, Chris served in the United States Marine Corps and majored in Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech.

Anastasios Arima

Executive Director
Mr Arima is highly regarded by the investment community for his ability to identify and develop new bulk commodity projects, in particular, coal. Mr Arima previously worked in the hydrocarbon division at WorleyParsons Limited, and more recently was working as an analyst for an investment banking firm, where he specialised in the technical and financial requirements of resource projects.

Mr Arima was directly responsible for identifying and negotiating the acquisition of Coalspur Mines Limited Vista Coal Project, the Piedmont Lithium Project for WCP Resources and the Buck Creek Project of Paringa Resources.

Paul Vuljanic

Executive Director

Mr. Vuljanic has over 16 years in the energy sector including coal, oil, natural gas and timber management. Paul Vuljanic held various engineering and operations management positions at surface and underground mining operations within Murray Energy Corporation, PVR Partners, L.P. & recently served as Director of Operations within the Natural Resource Division of Regency Energy Partners, L.P. a publicly traded MLP now owned by Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ETP). Vuljanic has worked closely with each company’s business development divisions in reviewing various energy, mineral and royalty acquisitions within the United States. Paul Vuljanic received a BS in engineering from Penn State University.

Scott Sparks

Chief Operating Officer

Scott has over thirty years of experience in mining operations, construction, and contract processing operations with particular expertise in coal processing and proppant (frac sand) operations.  Scott has held senior management positions and has previously been responsible for the concurrent management of 12 processing plants and up to 900 employees.  As the owner of Performance Industries Scott has grown a construction business from inception to over 60 employees in less than 12 months.
